iPET Level 3 in Dog Grooming and Salon Management

This course is designed to suit everybody, whether you are thinking about starting your own business or gaining employment in a salon, this course for you. In order to get the best head start in the industry I would recommend the NEW iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management qualification.

The iPET Network qualification is now a nationally recognised qualification, regulated by Ofqual and on the UK educational framework. The course runs over 32 days (1 day induction, 30 days styling in the school and 1 day Canine First Aid course) with additional theory work to be completed at home. You do not need any prior experience to start this course or to have completed another level course first.

​​The Level 3 Qualification course gives you the most skills practice and you will leave with in depth knowledge of each breed style, canine first aid, customer care, salon health and safety and business management and much, much more.

The units covered in the iPET Network qualification are:

• Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
• Assess and Plan Dog Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment
• Prepare, Style and Finish a range of Dog Breeds
• Health Checking, Handling and Canine Behaviour
• Canine Emergency First Aid
• Promote the Welfare of Dogs conforming with Relevant Legislation
• Customer Care and Managing Complaints
• Planning the Operation of a Small Canine Business

Each student receives a course pack, after course support via our iPET students Facebook page and exclusive supplier discounts (10% on the majority). The difference between our courses is the number of days practical skills training and therefore the number of dogs you can groom in that time. The 32 day course is a recognised Level 3 (A level) Qualification approved by Ofqual and includes Handstripping which isn’t compulsory as part of the qualification but we feel is important to your grooming knowledge and expands your overall styling skills.  These elements are unique to our course syllabus and are not found in the C&G and OCN qualifications.

Course Cost – £5495.00

The overall course is offered over 32 days and is flexible; can do as little as one day per week but we do only teach Monday to Friday.

Payment plans are available for those taking the course 1 day per week.

PLEASE NOTE – All courses above that are to be paid in full prior to start date (unless payment plan agreed) but we do require a minimum deposit of £1000 to secure your place.
This is to secure your place and cover registration fees. This is non refundable once paid.

Please note – this deposit is non refundable as your dates will be secured and money paid to register you with your qualification board (IPet). Full balance due 1 month before start date, once paid and your course started, the full course fee cannot be refunded.

If paying via payment plan, a minimum deposit of £1000 and is non refundable once paid. This is required to secure your place, cover cost of registration fees and starter kit as well as getting your payment plan set up, training days booked in and the first payment plan installment is to be made the month prior to start date. Once course is started, no payments made are refundable.
